These are some of the top reasons to use Maps for the Classroom maps in your school.

Our maps reinforce skills, and add excitement to your curriculum!

Browse our maps HERE to see the large variety of activity maps we offer. Plus, you can view finished, colored versions of our maps.

REINFORCE NEATNESS. Cartography is a great way to learn paper-to-pencil skills. For example, students may have to make a word fit into a small or odd-shaped space, while still maintaining legibility. Students learn and carry these presentation skills into their other school work.   Teachers are concerned about the disappearance of hand to paper skills– use our maps to reinforce these skills.

ALL GRADES, ALL AGES!

All of our hands-on activity maps are adaptable for K-12 use! Our maps are used in elementary schools, middle schools and high schools– all grades! Special needs teachers use our maps! We are proud that we receive requests from college professors and college student teachers who use our maps as examples of how to teach geography.

Since our maps are desktop-size, (16 inches by 20 inches), students have enough room to easily label and color in details. Additionally, place names and geographic features are better learned by actually making a map rather than just studying one.

When finished, each student’s map will look different. No two students will write or color the map exactly alike. Each map will be unique to your young cartographers!
